hey everybody. i hope this is the right thread to ask this kinda question. if not, my apologies.

I once worked with a neat script that included in a playblast current frame number, focal length, time and date, user name and stuff like that. I don't know how it was called or whether there's an even better script out there for playblasting but maybe some of you can point me towards the right direction.

Alright, I've found what I was looking for. For anybody interested: It's called zwCustomHeadsupDiplay 0.0.1 and you can get it from HighEnd3d.

To make it compatible with Maya 2008 you only have to change one line in one of the two files that come with it:

in performPlayblast.mel
change line 485 from this
-label1 (uiRes("m_performPlayblast.kTimeSlider"))
to this
-label1 (localizedUIComponentLabel("Time Slider"))
