all LW, even the logos were rendered in LW, composited in Photoshop, almost no retouching was needed (only slight dof blur)

Did you use Hypersmooth for the water? The ripples are very soft.

the ripples are just a crumple texture with a gradient alpha on slope
plus some fractal noize
the reflections are traced + spherical map especially created in LW
there's a gradient on about every channel for the fresnel effect on the water. Yes even in colour (blue - greenish blue - dark blue).
The image was rendered with standard DOF medium quality
original is 1350x3031 px
the wave rendered in about 5 hrs on a P IV 1700 mhz. PC (too little physical memory for these kinda renders means heavy disk swapping and slower renders)
I did the blurring in post in PS thanks to the PS export plugin and Z buffer
the sky was a separate render (I also did a spherical proj. type render for reflections)
