i couldn't find this anywhere else so here it goes...

i have painter x and ps 7....

when i open the exact same image in both, the colors look more vibrant in ps...een when i paint a pic in painter and transfe it over to ps, the color look horrible, the same goes if i poste an image on the web...ive tried to use the color settings but nothing seems to work, and often painter will crash from an error when i change anything....im opening both on a cintiq 12wx so if anybody has some help or a site that i can make images look the same in both programs i would appreciate it....

The colour management in Painter X is very buggy and if you go into it more than twice a session it's liable to crash.

Anyway, have a look at John Derry's tutorial HERE (http://homepage.mac.com/pixlart/.Public/PDFs/Consistent%20Color.pdf)for settings between PS and Painter, which may help.
