View Full Version : PatchDeform in Max!!

I want to deform a spline into the shape of a half torus,the PatchDeform modifier gives me an error : "illegal patch" when selecting the torus as a patch, I've read that it's because the modifier does not accept tri-patches, the problem is that the torus does have tri-polygons,and even if i try to convert them to quads (by hand) the modifier still gives me the error,so is there any other deform tool that accepts tris??,any other suggesstions will be appreciated,thanks!!

I figured it out, wrapper script will do it..
