Script Editor Problem

I'm not completely sure. Which version of Maya are you using? Do you have many programs open with Maya? Did you pay for your copy of Maya? ;)

Under Prefrences>Interface> make sure Show Title Bar on the Script Editor is turned on. That is probably the problem to fix right there.
