this is just a scary situation. I wish it were more developed, cause it would look much better. One thing I notice in a lot of these drawings is that people put cities and towns on top a lot of creatures but usually lack an idea that Yerka kept hinting at. It's like his villages went about their lives without ever knowing that they live on top of these creatures. yours definitely has this as it looks like an island moving. The earth spins at 1000mph, but we don't realize it.

I'm with the last poster. Your piece wonderfully contradicts the mundane with the crazy aspects of Yerka's work. The simplicity is great but I do wish it was more developed.

I really like the minimalist quality of your composition. There is such a good sense of volume and detail to the whale that works well with the realism of the clouds. I would have liked to see the buildings and grass more defined to keep pace with your stronger elements. Still... nicely done! Congratulations!
