hey,

following problem:

i got a model with all human surface muscles from a 3D catalog (hell expensive)..
unfortunately the model does not have UVs..

just by chance: does anyone have a good and fast idea how to get UVs on about 90 muscles?

i would like to have them in a way, that i just need to apply a repeated ramp to the muscles and it already looks fine..

so the UVs do always have to go from the whole range 0 - 1 and be in a square layout.

look at this image:
http://www.uke.uni-hamburg.de/institute/imdm/idv/publikationen/mia1997/f6.html
there you can see the muscle strings going from one end of the muscle to the other..
just plain planar or such mappings do not work for that.

any ideas?

cheers

Your model is locked up, they do that so you can't change anything. Like the free models from cgchannel. If you duplicate any part of the model it won't let you change the shader or freeze the transforms. Don't buy models!! hire someone to create or make them.. If your a pro then you can do this and no deal with these problems. I figure you need to contact the vendor and ask some ?'s.. Good Luck
