As the subject suggest, you can download here my first approach of setting up the facial Animation for the Head you see here:

The pic is taken out of my shortmovie I did for testing purposes and for learning animation, and also to see what should be improved when I have to setup a complete Character for easy, fast and intuitive animation.

If you have some nice results with him, please feel free to show me.

And if you have critics that would help to improve the whole thing, please let me know :) .

man that sound good, but I don't get how it work..I see on your site that there is a little Ui that go with it..how do I get my hand on that..
Everything is connect to expression and there are tons of pose and clip in the track but really don't know how to do thing myself do you have a little tut in english..beside that like I said it looks good..too bad I don't really have time to check it more in depth probably later..

wow that looks cool, would be even cooler if i got it to work. I mean i got most of the controls to work but i feel like there must be a control or a UI to control everything. I have no idea how u've done some stuff but would be awesome if u could throw in a UI for us to check out and talk a bit on ur setup. Cheers.

Wow this is great!

The UI just popped up for me, when I opened the file. My only question is how do I get it to appear again, if I close it?

This looks like an interesting rig, but I don't believe it works with Maya 5. The procedure that calls the custom UI is called "headControlWindow", but it does not work. The MEL script must not be compatible with Maya 5.

I get an error when I load the file:

i get the same error, are we missing a mel script or something Byron. I really like this setup and would like to see more.

You should be able to grab the MEL script right out of the Maya scene file itself. That's what I did.

Unfortunately, if the script doesnt work with Maya 5...it doesn't work. So having the source code is useless to me.
