Really good work. I loved the outdoor scene and the byke vehicle. The character is good but in my opinion needs some work. I mean the street looks amazing and comparing the character against it, it just doesn't feel up to par.
Either way congrats on finishing VFS and your reel.
Cheers!

Hey, nice reel, everything looks great! Did you go into the modeling specialization?
I am looking into going to VFS for the 3d &VE major also. I think I'd probably be going for the special effects though.
Anyways just wondering what your specialization was. Really nice reel, everything looked realistic. But I guess the only thing I noticed that looked odd to me was on 0:50, the color between the jaw line and the neck seems wrong. More near the chin than where the jaw connects to the skull. I don't know what, but it just looks off, like it isn't two different objects.
I could be wrong, but just what I noticed. But over all I think it's one of the better reels I have seen from VFS. Amazing job :)

Thanks for your comments MrConterno, I'm glad you liked my reel.
About the jaw color I'm not entirely sure what you mean but I'm guessing it's more of a lighting or light scattering issue.. or might even be a video compression issue.. I'll keep that in mind thanks :).
I was in the modeling stream - if you watch a lot of vfs reels, you can usually tell the stream the person is in by the content of the reel:
- modeling: usually high-res models, often detailed textures, often attempts at lighting, often few or no animation with the models (like mine).
- animation: a lot of animation, usually simpler models.
- VFX: always has some element of live footage with cg elements incorporated.
Best of luck to your 3d endeavor :).
