Hi, this is a piece I did for my wife for our anniversary. It started off as an idea to do a card with a painting of my face and evolved into this self portrait as an angel.

This is also inspired in part by a series of paintings I started about one man's voyage through hell to heaven.

TheShock: I know about Gimp Paint Studio, haven't picked it up though. I know the UI is supposed to be more like Photoshop, but Gimp as is, I am used to. Thanks for your comments. :-) I will check out your blog. You can come check mine out to, I am about to update it with more content on drawing the head. :-D
