Ola!
Awsome challenge! Wouldn't forgive myself for not participating and I just HAVE to do something Thundercats related :)
Im going for an original interpretation (less cartoony) of Lion-O, but mainly inspired by the pose bottom right on my reference sheet.

Did some tweaking on his face (I noticed he looked a tad to old), and got the proportions right.

hey jelle!
nice update.
there is something about his head.... i liked the one you had in your first wip. he looked somewhat more mean. not sure if it's the render or what.
think it's his jaw. it looks a tad more defined and bulkier.
btw. do you do the topo after sculpting or have you already done? if you have, can we see the wire?
well, looking forward to your next wip.

Very nice work so far. The Biceps-Forearm transition looks rather weird though.
Cheers!

-RasmusW:
Thanks for your comment, appreciate it!
I think I know what you mean about the head, yet I didn't figure out what it is exactly :) You might be right about the jaw, but I also don't want him to look too mean, since he is still a hero :) I will start with retopo now (usually I use Silo, but I might try topogun this time. Keep hearing good things about it), pose him and then continue sculpting on the new clean mesh. Will post a wire with next update.
-TheRazorsEdge:
Thanks a lot dude!
Totaly agree about the forearm-biceps transition. Needs to be fixed before
retopo.
Cheers

Its been a few days since I updated. I did not stop working though, just didn't have much progress to show :) Spent most of the time on retopo, testing some shaders and trying out different poses. This is the pose that I'm going to continue with. Muscles need more work
Thanx
