View Full Version : When Worlds Collide
plakkert 02-26-2009, 10:01 AM Hello there,
I'm currently working on an animation titled "When Worlds Collide". I'm using a combination of 3D (Cinema4D) and 2D (After Effects)
A first look at the animation can be seen here:

Tell me what you think :)
I might upload an updated video somewhere today

the animation ('till now) says nothing. nothing about worlds, nothing about them colliding, i saw noting interesting that would attract my attention.

hey dude wassup..
i think ur concept is gud but the way u have shown the collision is not so gud, u can use "particles" instead of "shatter" to show the collision. You can also show some planets/asteroids in the bg to make the scene more lively.I like the idea very much.
Hope my comments helped u.
OK. tc
bye.

great effects... still says nothing. try to think like this if i have a low budget and i have to renounce of the special effect will remain something interesting to hear about
don't get me wrong but when someone say worlds collide i see something big like to civilization first meeting; like alien humankind, elf vs dwarfs jew - palestinian speacking insects vs man, or perception in thoughts a meteor is to collide earth humans collide with theirs worst fears (unitize with the enemy), the collision of two galaxies

I'm sorry, but I don't know who or what Rubber Johnny is.. could you elaborate? And is that a good or a bad thing?

rubber jonny is a music video directed by chris cunningham. you could probably watch it somewhere on the internet. just google it. Its pretty bizarre. But its very well edited.
