That is precisely why peeps that want serious comments to post in the Focused Crit forum ;) and remember this is a Gallery "Finished" forum
Anyhoo it's a nice image but needs some more attention to the details, for one the ball looks flat to me, I really don't "feel" any dimension to it, also the dirtiness you try to portray looks like a layer applied in Photoshop that simply just sits there.
You need alot more bumps and variation in textures in the scene, I didn't even know a shovel was part of the scene until I saw the wire.
Also your shadows are a bit confusing, for the time of day you have some descent soft shadows all over but under the ball the shadow is very sharp.
And lastly I know you're trying to capture realism, but the grain is a bit too much, and makes the image somewhat distracting because it's so apparent.
