View Full Version : Error No UV Coordinates
CGIPadawan 02-25-2009, 09:10 PM I want to know what others think/know about this strange Blender 2.48 Bug.
If you run the Script for "Export UV Layout" to TGA image, sometimes you get this persistent message: "Error: No UV Coordinates".
But basically the UV Coordinates are there because I unwrapped the mesh.
It went away once without me changing anything. But I fear it will return at the worst of times.
Does anybody know a workaround or a bugfix?

I really don't know for sure, but the first think I'd check (maybe look a the script itself) is to see if it's mode dependent ... e.g. you must have the object selected and be in Edit mode.
Also if, like me, you know just enough about Python to be dangerous, the script itself may point you in the right direction.
Not much help, I know. :hmm:
Well, I don't know about you guy's but I prefer to bake an AO texture image instead, now that we have the baking options. ;)
Also never had that problem.

Yes baking an AO is a great alternative.
And this "No UV Coordinates" thing is a strange problem.. It didn't happen to me for many hours and I only encountered it for the first time a few days ago.
Very strange thing.. and it wouldn't go away unless I re-exported a TGA using an old project file. So in that way, you can banish it the same way as the "Effect Circle vanishes when using Proportional Deform" Bug.
