This is my first walk cycle.

2 seconds is just not enough; cycle it for maybe 10 or 15 seconds. The related videos come up 1 second after playing obscuring the remaining cycle...

It's hard to tell what's off in it right now from the current angle, however, I think the leg is not extending far enough behind currently and as the leg passes underneath the body it's too straight.

hey! This is whats off in my opinion. The head should have some more weight. The legs are a bit squirky just as they leave the ground, it is very hard to make that part of the cycle smooth.
The character seem to be very light, but it should still have some sort of bounce when he lands with the legs. The arms seems forced, not like their movement is a natural cause of the movements of the other body parts.
Still good work for first walkcycle

The Upper body needs to have more of a rolling motion, right now it just looks like it's going back and forth back and forth.

Framepool.com (http://www.framepool.com) is a good place for a lot of free stock footage you can download, you could check there. Also, if you have a camera you could just get up and act out exactly what you want and use that for reference.

nice start man. I think thereīs not much hip motion as well and all the things people already said about not conveying weight very well. Remember that it takes force to lift the leg and push the body for the next step, so you should have some hang time on the up position. Definetelly need some head motion like itīs taking the weight you know.
Thereīs quite a bit of little details on walk, I would sugest for you to take a look at this awesome tutorial on a run cycle, it goes in detail in several aspects of a run, which can defintelly be used on a walk ( in the end of the article he talks about the diference between them)
