if you have read it you would have known that we can't answer questions without having some good info.

meaning we need to know what you're gonna use it for. what your budget is. things like that.

I suggest you go read the sticky and try again.

It is faster even though it is much higher precision.

The thing with the GeForce FX cards is the drivers haven't caught up to what the cards can do yet, I'd expect to see some notable performance gains within the next two sets of drivers while the ATI drivers are pretty mature for that line of cards and the performance increase won't be too much more future wise.

ATI is coming out with another gen of the Radeon cards.... sooooo... depending on how soon you need it, if you are considering the ATI 9800 which is a nice card... I would wait a few months because it would probably get cheaper. Never know, then the FX5900 might get cheaper to in response.. who knows.. whee....... that's the fun with technology, 8 months later, something new comes out.

9800 pro all the way the FX5900 is too big and loud

ATi is comming out with a newer card 9900 pro 4Q 2003
