I've got a bunch of frames that I want to make into a comp where they play one after the other.

Is there an easier way to do this than the way I'm doing now where I make each image appear one after the other manually?

cheers

Are they individual images in your project window? You can select them all, then drag them to the comp icon (at the bottom of the project window) and then it gives you all sorts of options to do sequential etc.

You also may want to consider just importing them as an image sequence though, hard to say without more details.

As mentioned, name them properly and import them as a sequence. If they all need to have the same duration, that's the most efficient way, even for slideshows, as with time-stretching you can still manipulate the entire sequence and have each chunk long enough. Other than that - create a sequenced comp as also already mentioned. For changing individual pieces therein, you may want to use a couple of scripts that allow you to manipulate staggering and stacking order, so look at AEnhancers and similar sites, if you need them.
