Hello there,
I read that the Brazil (http://www.splutterfish.com/sf/sf_gen_page.php3?printer=1&page=brazil) is one of the best rendering system for max. I also heard that there was a free beta(?)-version for download some time ago. Is it possible to get this or another "free" edition of brazil (this is not an warez request! ;))?

The pub test 0.4.53 isn't a full demo version of Brazil r/s 1.0.

The pub test is now over 12 months old, and was a way for people to test out some of the features of the full Brazil r/s 1.0. Since its a year old alot of stuff has changed or been added. Brazil r/s 1.2 will be showed at siggy later this month.

The full Brazil r/s 1.0 has so many features that pub test 0.4.53 doesn't. But 0.4.53 is still free to be used.

Inquiries regarding evaluations or demos of Brazil r/s should be directed to sales@splutterfish.com and are handled on a case by case basis.

I actully got to try the full var. of brazil at a friend place. Much more stuff. The only reson to use brazil test ver. is for ppl that wanne use g.i and ray-traceing with a fast speed. U can also get hdri to work. I dont know much more....
Atleast it is free is it does not hurt to test
