I don't know if anyone got the Digit magazine with the XSI and Max tuts and Poser stuff on the CDs (I think it was the issue before the Motionbuider one), but there are some XSI movies from 3DBuzz on there about rigging and animating. They are XSI specific (obviously) but a lot can be learned from them. They also show how much easier things are in Cinema, sometimes, than it is in the big expensive apps. It also shows where some improvements can be made in Cinema's rigging department. An IK chain is set "automatically" as you create the chain (more or less). Parenting is done right in the viewport. I don't think Cinema is as far behind in CA as some people keep saying it is.
Anyway, if you can get a hold of them, I think they're worth a look.
