View Full Version : Quick Help (Joan of Arc Tutorial)

I know this is an old tutorial, but I just got 3ds max and am trying to learn it.

I'm on this page. http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/body2.asp

It says to weld the middle vertex to the side, but I can never get a clean split like that. It laways ends up creating triangles.

It's supposed to look like this.

You are missing a vertice on that center line there. You can go into Edge mode and manually Insert Vertex and then Connect the 3 Vertices so you get the Edges as shown. :)
