Hi,
I use cache files from maya to be imported to max. Generally I like to max particles better than the maya. So my whole production for particle works are done in 3dsmax.
I usally cache the rig from maya and imported to max using fbx.
some problems are really cunning
- the camera dont match perfectly. ( i have to calculate different things to get it matched)
- when i used the collsion deflector in pflow and define cache files as the deflector collision object , damn the particles collided just for one frame and go through the object.
( what is the solution for these kinds of problems. and the better way to exactly match the maya to max camera would be much helpful.)
