I have plane

I need to bend it around sphere (put it on the top of it). I'm using SimCloth for this with default options, but when I start calculations edges of it isn't moving. Only inner polys moves. Is there any options in SimCloth to change to make edges move?

Or maybe there is other may to bend it?

If you are a max user you can wrap it to any objects with UV's:

Slideknit (works with max 9):

I'm not sure what your goal is, but you could also apply a spherify modifier in max to turn your mesh into a sphere that will keep some of the shapes you have now...unfortunately spherify doesnt always work perfectly.
