Title: The First Full Story
Name: Andrew Zink
Country: United States
Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop
The last piece on my Demoreel. I particularly enjoyed this piece because of its simplicity. I had a fun time experimenting with different mental ray shaders trying to simulate the lenses.

Nice little realistic looking render. The materials are very well done. Great lighting too!
Thumbs up!

Very nice render. Very realistic and nice textures, just like the rest of your portfolio images. I specially like the one of the sink.
Only thing of comment would be to let the glasses stand out a little more, but maybe those are just clean :).
Like said above, a breakdown of the texturing would be great.

Thanks so much everyone, I appreciate all of the comments.
Indeed, the newspaper does give a little background history to the glasses, I wanted to go for a World War II feeling.
You can see the wires and another angle on my demoreel
