View Full Version : Mirror Weights Problem

Hello,

I don't know if this is an obvious answer, but I've been stuck on this for a good hour or two now. I need help.
I'm using biped, and I've been trying to mirror my skin weights. The green verts are spilled into the blue vert's side. Which I'm assuming is causing my problem. Anything I change the thresh to does nothing. Also, my character is placed at 0 on the X plane, but I had to move the offset because 0 wasn't actually 0? I'm kind of confused.

Here's a visual of what's going on: http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a133/seraphSIN/caseymirror.jpg

Am I missing something basic? What can I do to fix this so I can mirror my verts easily?

Thanks in advance!

You need to center the pivot of the mesh then reset the xform on the model before skinning.
