a rejected concept design for an 'upgrade' version of Aphrodite IX done by Joel Gomez. She's kinda Aphrodite IX crossed with Witchblade bits and a bit of EVE: Protomecha thrown in... :D

pencils = Joel Gomez who sent me the high res pencils (whatta nice guy!)
Inks = Tom Schloendorn who inked them for me (another really nice guy!)

Nice colors man! Excellent pencils and inks by Gomez & Schloendorn. They are nice guys for giving you the highres!

great character composition. love the color scheme and graphic novel layout. I'd expect to see her in a Marvel comic somewhere. Great dynamics in the pose, too. The sense of action and expression is really there. Her wings are cool, and her weapon looks formidable.
