Alright, I have 2 layers. The base layer is an image of a star field in outer space that I rendered out in Maya. The top layer is of a 3d globe with an asteroid that comes from behind it and passes in front of the camera. What I need to do is get the star field to show up behind the globe and asteroid. The top layer was rendered with the Hardware Render Buffer in Maya 2009. Can this be fixed in after effects or is it a Maya problem?
