they have maya 5 complete on journeyed.com for 599. at the bottom of the description of the product it states that "
This license is a perpetual license that includes installation support only, this license does not include upgrades". that means even when the license is up the program will still function and u dont have to license it again. With the regular and non-student versions dont u have to license it every year, but you will not be able to upgrade to the newer version.
On the same site i dont see anything about a license for max. why is it u have to license maya . i spoke to a rep from alias once and he told me that u have to license it every year or else it will not work. its so expensive already do u really have to do that.
