When I right click on geometry in Maya 8.5 and Maya 2008 on my computer, I just get a tiny empty box. I've been working around this for a while because deleting preferences didn't work. But now I want to change deformation order for some clusters I've added, and I have no idea how to get that list without right clicking on the geometry. Maya help tells me to use the hypergraph but I have no idea how to do it in there. I'm not so good with the technical stuff. Any help would be super appreciated!

Thanks so much!

Not sure, but I believe that is a graphicscard problem. What kind of graphicscard do you have?
might want to try upgrading/downgrading your drivers.

Ahh, interesting idea. Someone else just broached that idea to me as well. I have a pretty nice video card. And I didn't have the problem for the first year of the computer, only the past few months. Perhaps it is a driver issue. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the advice!

Backup your prefs, and then delete them(not the backed up ones), start up maya again and see if that fixes it.
