Hi there, I've had this question for some time now. I take it to be some kind of lighting scheme. In this every thing in the scene is sort of over-bright and the edges of the objects sort of glows. I've found this kind of lighting in scenes where what a character is reminiscing about is shown. I don't even know how to put this question in the proper way. Does it have a name? Just curious about it( and mad being not able to describe it).
Thanking you,
T.

You are talking about bloom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloom_(shader_effect))?

Hi, from the images in the page I think it's what I'm referring to. I last saw this effect in the movie ,big fish'. Maybe this'll help describe what I'm trying to find. I shots that I've seen are outdoor ones and even the characters looked as if they were glowing. Or may be not now that I've seen the images in wiki.
Thanks a lot for it though.

I think what you are talking about is soft focus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soft_focus
