What should I do to prepare for this school? I still have a year or so before i actually would attend it, but it would be awesome to begin preparing for it now and know exactly what to prepare for :)

Are there certain parts of maya that you used more than others, or do i need to know just about everything?

If you have a year, I would spend it drawing. It will help your poses, your thumbnail ideas for a shot, etc., and you can do it whenever and wherever you like.

First, learn to use search tools on the internet. There is a huge thread about this school on CGTalk already. You will find your answers there.
