hi there.
I want to create a jellyfish, and saw a great cg reference movie on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDwBO9BwXJI...re=channel_page (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDwBO9BwXJI&feature=channel_page)

I dont have any idea about how this can be rigged. I'm needing some information/suggestions/tutorials about rigging this kind of stuff.

I'm using cinema4d as my main 3d package but I'm hoping to find any tutorials, well, rigging is same everywhere, I guess.

I was thinking about the same thing.. But i'm working in maya. I guess the best choice would be using the hair systems. I'm working on it now. Maybe if I succeed I'll write a tutorial, just to not forget how to do it:) Probably you should seek similar dynamic system in cinema.
Hairs have a huge potential to make this kind of stuff. Good luck!

To do this in Cinema, you would probably want to use Cloth for the Dome part of the Jellyfish(so like half of a sphere, with All but the bottom 2 loops of points belted to an object that you will use to control the movement of your jellyfish. Then once you have the animation done, you would have to point cache the cloth, remove the cloth tag once it's cached, and then Add hair to the bottom loop of polygons and tweak the settings there.
