thanks for the video. Not to sound ungrateful and i guess i should of made myself clear as to what type of texturing i wanted to see. What i had in mind was what if your art director gives you a loose concept art of a creature and go went ahead and model it, how would you approach texturing something like that? I think you would want to hand paint the texture, and rely less on photo-reference?

In anycase,I would love to see a video on hand painting texture in MB, from the basic shading to adding more details. Maybe you can use a frog as the example, and hand paint that?

Son, the fastest way when using any 3d Paint program is to use photo textures to lay down a base texture. Then use this in photoshop to create various color washes and blend modes to blend different parts of the textures to elimanate the photo look.


Hand "Painting" will always look hand painted.
