Fancy was a major work student film for a 1 year film course I finished a bit over a year ago now (Victorian College of the Arts, Film & TV Foundations, 2007).
Written, directed, edited and animated by yours truly.

I put it through a small festival run here in Aus, disappointed i didnt get to enter it into more festivals earlier in '08. Unfortunately, lack of money doth create problems for paying entry fees.

I suppose striiiictly speaking this is a live action short film, but I'm sneaking it into this forum because it does have quite a number of shots with animation in.

Here's the semi-rundown:
shot on: some kind of panasonic camera on P2 format.
original format: 720p
software used: Premiere, Maya, Photoshop CS3, After Effects, Color, Audition

Here's the film rundown:
Jen, a young inner city cafe worker, has a rather overactive imagination. Reality just isnt as exciting for her as what she is able to sketch in her mind about others.

Except for one boy, one of her regulars.

Who’s perfect.

But what happens to her cosy world when a new woman invades and manages to steal his affections?

I've still gotta get a downloadable 720p HD version going yet.
