It's been ages since I posted anything here, and the standard of work just keeps going up and up.

I was just messing around in the quiet moments at work and was quite pleased with the results, no reference, made with patches, using photgraphic element to start building up the textures.

I'm going to do a few morph targets and build the body, in the style of Boris Karloff.

Let me know what you guys think.

you don't mean 3ds for dos, do you?

the eyes got a really nice look on 'em! textures are looking good too.

and don't you forget the screw ;)

What a waste to use such a beautiful and characterized model to represent Frankestein. You could something way cooler with him, all you need is getting the head fixed:)
I really like him because of his expression, thats special. I dont usually post those "Cool!!!" posts, lol.
Maybe I like him also because he reminds me of one of the actors who played in "Oz":P

Just my thought...

thanks for the comments guys, I've started modelling the torso and will keep posting updates.

010 - I'm using max 5.1, don't know about the bolts, but there'll be plenty of wrinkles and scars 'n' stuff like that.

freedik - I kinda know what you mean, but I never had any ideas of what I wanted from this model, he just started looking a bit like frankenstein's monster so I followed that trail, but that's the good thing about 3d it's never too late to change your mind.

looks just like frankenstien, i also never liked the idea of him being green? only if he had like gangreen or soemthing. i like your look also his actual face is spot on , great work .
