Hi guys, I got this problem for a facial rig, actually needed this for other things in the past

I have a head with a facial rig based on morphs targets, and added a couple of dummies on the Skin modifier to make a few tweaks and minor fixes, what I want to do is that the dummies follow the vertice position where it is originally even when the face morphs to any of its targets, but also that I can still move the dummy at that position to affect the head by the skin

I tried attaching the dummy to the head, but then I cannot use it as bone in the skin cause it would create a dependency loop

any ideas on how to do that?
thanks!!

As far as I know you can't. The only ways to create two-way dependencies are instancing the controller or wiring parameters. Both don't work on subobject-lvl.
