To anyone who is interested -
Autodesk will be holding a free training session on how to use the 3ds Max SDK in San Francisco March 23-24.
The 2 day session will be aimed at the more advanced programmer and covers all sorts of the 3ds Max SDK that is not covered in the SDK documentation.
Topics include:
writing Hardware materials for the viewport (think DXMaterial)
How to create dynamic parameter blocks
Debugging 3ds Max plugins - how to do it effectively without losing your hair.
The most important part - this is all free! But you do have to register...
Complete details can be found at - http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/22728/
