[I have also posted this question in the "learning to walk"-post - but it seems to be deserted]

what´s your approach to mirror an animation?

once you´ve set up a working movement/walkcircle for one leg do you mirror the whole leg with the mocca mirror tool?
do you copy the keyframes in the timeline and tweak them into the right position?
how do you edit both sides of the leg?
by re-editing one side, then mirroring it aggain.

this does not work too good once you´ve weightpainted the skin (also when you use claude bonet - I experienced some weaknesses / wrong weighted points when I did)

would be quite interesting to me how you get a workflow

don´t know how other progs do but is there something like a delayed-mirroing?
delayed so that you the walkcircle makes sence - legs do the same movement but delayed

honestly I"ve never even heard of mirroring animatin myself, not that it doesnt' exist, but I don't see why you'd want it. All it would do is make your animatino stiffer and more CG then it already is. is the variety in a leg going slightly higher and such that things look natural.
