I wanted to play around with some custom brushes in both Painter X and Photoshop CS3. I used the palette knife in Painter because I like the stroke effects it gives an image. In Photoshop I used a photograph of rock textures and made it a custom brush, it gave the image that rough painterly texture. Color adjustments of course in Photoshop.
