The model looks good, but you will have to work on the car material, it's not reflective enough.

Awsome job:applause: I like the style something different but very nice. Painter is it ?

not all cars have to be reflective you know. I love the paint realy different from what most people do but Differentiates you from them and thats great.

Kinda looks like silk

great job on the modelling also

Modelling is great, very good model , but yes reflexion are'nt crisp enough and well defined, it's like velvet surface. Otherwise this is beautifull :)

Thx for comments.

The car is very reflexive but reflexions are blured. That's why it has a litte 2D style.
I model and render it with 3dsMax5.
Here's the same pic with non-blured reflexions.

The second redering looks wicked. It really brings out the model's lines. I also like how the light is reflecting the bottom side of the front air dam. good job! This would make a great poster for print.

man that looks pretty nice... one thing... i think that reflector in front of the rear wheel on the side of the car is offset from the body or something...

Top notch car! I love the rims, very stylish and realistic. The whole thing flows together quite nicely, I like both of your renders though!

great jobs..now try to work on the details of the wheels caz i can see the ground thru the one at the back..so put something there(like those break circle things)...but overall looks awsome.

Second render looks super shhhmick and deserves a really good look, not just a quick glance! :)
Hopefully the next machine you produce will be a tiny bit more original. (theres many murcielagos floating around) even though yours may be the best!

la classe, tu mets le moyen est les disques (on les voit bc sur la muercielago) et ce sera parfait, non, serieux, le coup de mettre le flou sur les reflections, c pas con !!!

Hehe, I prefer the first rendering over the second one. Don't get me wrong, they're both GREAT! It's just that the second one is just too slick, the first one shows a lot more elegance; a painted impression, just the way I like it ;)
Maybe you should considder making a yellow version, it might end up in a cliche, but the color would be in harmony with the blueish background? Or a limegreen version ;), I saw Missy Elliott and Busta having one in that color, it totally rocked! :)

Looks great I love the hardcore reflections. I am just not sure about the side pod air intake. might be the angle but it doesn't look quite right to me. Doesn't look like it is closed in behind.

Yeah, it looks nice. Nice materials. Somebody has already mentioned, that you don`t have brake calipers.

Otherwise it looks nice. Although i`m not sure about some linies of the car, so It doesn`t look real to me. We`ll see my Lambo :) I`ll let you know (hope)

yes, i made a lapsus with the hub (moyeu en francais), you need all the fuse, caliper, disk brake and the screw on the center of the wheel !!

hi me pleasurable her premium image at verity is highly good , her latter has some trouble of refleciones , as it is possible which itself reflect the car in the floor and the funding of the setting not and whether yourself lingering her spotlight in the front of the car is not continuous , I take her premium image is cool and sorry for my bad english

Nice renders. I like them both. I think people missed the point with the first render, wasn't it supposed to be sylised...I think one guy even mistook it for something done in painter.

GOOD LORD!

That is some fine work indeed. While I _do_ like the second one far more I also like the first one as well. And yes the first one is different (that's prolly why I like it). But damned the second one is slick.

awesome job, really! :applause:

Looks good. Did you make an interior as well?

spraoutch
07-04-2003, 10:06 AM
I prefered the old one, something particular in the material that is different of all vehicles' rendered images...
Specially on the wheels!...
You don't need to have realistics reflects to perform an exemplar work on this theme!!!!
Congratulations!

Hi, thanx for all your comments guys.

For the render, I've used VRay because it renders faster blured reflexions, but you can exactly do the same thing with the default render cause I've not used special features of vray.
Now the car has brakes . I've changed the car material : now
reflexivity is a mix of two layers: one blured and one neat.
The interior is not done ... yet, and wire is coming soon :)

Thanx again, @+

Good job!!! it's awesome... i like the 1st render it has a wierd but cool look to it...
The folding out "batwings" (behind the side window) are supposed to be flush with the body but they stick out a bit too much. Maaaaaaaaaaaan thats the biggest problem i could find w/ ur car (that makes me sad)

reiv
07-05-2003, 04:53 PM
THx angain for ur comments.
PauloSampaio: The background is really simple: this is juste a radial map mixed with different "noise" maps, that's all :)

freakin' A man...very nice render, i kinda like the more reflective one more cuz it looks "cleaner" but the other one looks more "realistic"

The last one really did it for me, I was hesitant with the first 2, but with that combo on the mats, you really caught that showroom excellence imo. Well done

upon receiving this award, it guarantees you a spot in the cgtalk gallery hall of fame (http://gallery.cgtalk.com) - which you are now placed

Yeah, it looks pretty good. Only think I don`t like is the rubber pattern on tires. I would model it, rather than use a bump map. Also the pattern it self doesn`t look to be that Lambo has in real.

And I would make a bit darker rims.
