View Full Version : keys in the timeline move with different speed when i rescale them...

when i select the whole biped and rescale keys in the timeline to the right (making the animation play longer and slower), the keys (for example) of the forearm move faster than the keys on the palm, the same is with feet, the keys of the foot move slower than the key on the calf and thigh resulting in the keys being mixed up after rescaling them... it only occures on one of my bipeds from my scene and really gets on my nerves...

if someone had this problem and fixed it, please write the solution here
thanks in advance.

I'm curious which application are you using? And are you using character sets?

Sounds more like 3dMax to me.

Do you use Character Assembly?
Do you key every part of your rig when you key something?

For instance do you set key on the head when you animate arm?

If timing differs on every part it might break after scaling.

I use 3dmax and biped

I dont key the whole biped, i never did, i just key the parts i need and occasionall the whole biped, i use the key button in the motions window. I never had this problem with any biped earlier... i can post a max scene if you want to help me solve this problem :|

thanks

PS: what is character assembly?
