I am a little confused, but how would I get the colour Pantone Red in Photoshop?

Hi Animare...
Click the Foreground colour swatch.
In the colour editor window look to the top right and click the CUSTOM button.
Choose in the menu which colour palette you want, then find the specific colour you need.
TIP: Once you have this specific Foreground colour chosen, open your Swatch palette, and in an empty space at the end of the colour line, click your mouse when you see the cursor become a paint bucket icon.
BTW... the only "stupid" question is the one not asked.
