Hello,

My friends and me recently made a little short film in our spare time.
I'm french so it's a bit hard to make a fun sum up of this film with my bad
english . I think that looking at it will be better than reading things about it.
It's a film we made in a short time just for fun and we hope that peoples will have
fun looking at it.
We are young and aware of all the things we have to learn from all of you
so critics and comments are welcome!

Incredible.
The aesthetics of this short film were amazing.
I loved it!
I donīt know why, but you are making the viewer to WANT to see the red one win. With no character development, I mean.. we have no sympathy with him... Itīs weird, itīs great!

Great Work!

Cool that you like it. The music have been done during the film in parallel with the animation and the montage to get something synchronized.

Hy. Thanks again :)
We spent two week to model and rigg the vehicles and the setting. As written in
the generic we used the Andy Rig as base for the two characters. We changed the
textures/shaders and added some extra objects to make them different one to the other.
I was in France just for two weeks, it's why we used this rig. At the beginning it was a film just for fun and we was event not sure about if we would put it on Internet after.
After two week, I had almost all the playblasts of "Running and Tumbleweed" and I went back to Turkey. I worked few hours at night after work for a bit less than 2 months to complete the rendering and composite for the film.
We used Maya for all the 3D part, I made the composite in after and used Premiere for the montage.

Hey hey thank you! It was not the first goal to hide Andy but It's good if we don't notice it to easily. I which we had more time to make two deferents characters. Maybe next time, even if I don't know when we will have the opportunity to make an other personal short film with my friends. But one day we will be back! :)
