View Full Version : Free Transform more than one layer with selection??
Petrus 07-02-2003, 01:41 AM Is there a way to free transform a selected portion of an image, and do this on more than one layer att the time?
Example: Lets say you have a three layer image of a painted human, and want to move the right arm a bit. Problem is that the arm is painted on all three layers (as is the rest of the human).
How is this done the easiest way??

With a selection... I don't think you can. Normally you can just link a transform multiple layers but not with a specific selection active. You can maybe invent a method using "transform again" shift+ctrl+T.

Ok... to bad! I wonder if they will add this functionallity to their next uppgrade... it would be very nice!
Thanx for the shift+ctrl+T tip!!!
Now I can at least do this manually by:
saving my selection as a channel, transform,
choose the next layer, load channel as selection, "transfrom again",
choose the next layer, load channel as selection, "transfrom again",
etc...
not quite as quick as a "transform-layers-with-selection" function, but it works! =)
