Title: Baba Yaga
Name: Min Yum
Country: Australia
Software: Photoshop

This was a done for ChOW at conceptart.org, "Bab yaga". I thought illustrating an interaction between the witch and the girl would have been a nice approach with dramatic lighting...
Painted in PS, c & c always welcome!
cheers,

Min

Beautiful colours, wonderful work on anatomy. I also appreciate very much the original approach to the concept of a classic character from russian tales.
Cheers!

It looks like she's being hypnotized by Baba Yaga's nasty low hanging old-lady-breasts... But seriously, nice work here.

Very outstanding work! The lighting has an eerily realistic quality to it, and the figures are perfectly painted. Creepy too. 5 stars.

Beautiful, beautiful work, the best i've seen here for some time. Reminds me very much of Arthur Rackham, which is no mean feat!

Ecellent piece Min! Fantastic style, love it so much. 5stars here
And Baba Jaga is not only russian, it typical dark character for all slovanic nations (russia, slovakia, czech republic, slovenia, ukraine, ....) is just some kind of default old witch:D
