View Full Version : Untriple?
E.Z. Schwartz 07-01-2003, 10:41 PM I'm guessing the answer is no, but is there a way to untriple an object? I had all quads, then I tripled and accidently saved and closed, now I wish I could get it back to quads. Is it possible? Thanks.

Never save.
***Save AS*** (plus new number to differentiate)

Yey! Thanks Robinson!
webfox, if I 'save as'd ever time I saved I'd have millions of objects.

If you feel lucky, you can also check your hub's temp directory and see if your model was backed up in there.
c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp\lwhub
I always 'save as' too. I usually end up with 10-40 model files in my workup directory :)

So? I do, too. I just use the one with the highest number.
After I'm done modeling, I throw out the rest.

Merge trigons X works pretty well most of the times. Sometimes you have to adjust polys manually but it will help alot.
