 first post!

This is my first object I made with Cinema 4D, I've had some previous 3d-experience with Swift 3d.
I was inspired by the little tank from one of my favorite neo geo games MetalSlug

All C&C are more then welcome especially about the lighting

Pretty god damn awesome for a first post!
I really like it
it has that round fat cartoony look and then at the same time looks like it could totaly kick ass!
How long have you been using 4D?
Great job!

Nice! Not many suggestions, but with regard to the lighting you might disable shadow casting for the light coming from the back. Or if you want to keep shadows on, maybe exclude the ground object from that light.

This is really cool. I've seen two other people do this tank. This one is the best so far. That's a popular little tank! Was that little image your reference photo?

I'v started about 6 weeks ago playing around and doing some small tutorials from the maxon site. This is my first 'real' object. Took me about 3 weeks, 2 hours a day or something :hmm:

Was that little image your reference photo?
Yes, couldn't find some larger or better images

Very nice kick ass render dude.

Adam I think the shadows may be cool if he puts it in an out of doors environment late at night with loads of spotlights and street lights.

Very cool. I look forward to more impressive work in the future!
I agree with Adam... the lighting has a great feel, but could possibly be thought out a little more. I say this and you probably have that intention anyway and you were just posting for the model and now you are saying "no sh*t, dumb*ss"

Keep up the great work.

excellent work bud...

only comment would be floor texture to regular...would like to see the odd big chunk of rubble in there....minor detail though cos the rest is outstanding.
