I am running into some trouble concerning layered shaders. Whenever I create a layered shader and try to add mental ray shaders to it (mia_material, car_paint, dielectric material) the layered shader will not accept them. I try to drag them into the shader, but nothing happens; they just don't get added. Specifically, I was trying to have a shader that was chrome on top with transparent parts so that a blue glow could come out of those parts. If anyone knows what I could be doing wrong, or knows of any good tutorials on layered shaders, I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice. Thanks!
