Looks like a pretty typical Hollywood "adventure" flick. "Hidalgo is the one who believes in you, but can you believe in yourself?". *snicker*. Sounds like a real cheese-fest.:thumbsdow

My point was that it sounds like a very cheesy, over-the-top, cliche movie. Don't get me wrong, I'll probably still watch it (I like the occassional Hollywood pop-corn flick), but I, personally, would like to see more "intellectually stimulating" movies (ie, Donnie Darko, Being John Malkovich, Memento, etc.). Unfortunately, most moviegoers seem to disagree;).

There are different types of tastes for movies.
A popular movie does not automatically make it trash,
and so called independent movies are not necessarily
a quality product. A lot of art and music that we now consider high art started out as a product for the masses.
(And to be honest, this is the type of silly topic that can hijack a thread)
Either way one type of movie is not superior to another.
...
So getting back in topic
Where is Leigh?
After all this topic is right on her alley.

Nah she's probably just still in Viggo 'Aragorn' mode :D

I haven't chimed in until now because I've been down the east coast for a few days having a well deserved holiday :D
But oooooh how nice to come back to this!!! Yeah, I do prefer him as Aragorn, but damn I can't say that he doesn't look dishy as hell here
