Well I guess silence is also an answer some times.

erm...
there's something odd about the shadow behind the glass ball thing. its even all the way around, where as there’s a strong light towards the top of the glass bit. the shadow is making the pic look flat

other than that it looks cool, especially the glass bit (was that done in a 3d prog?)

cheers

hi radiator, btw were did you get that screen name is it from a pixies song?

im sure its just not my eyes, but that text i think it slants. i dont think its horizontal totally, im just loking but i think its not flat. i like it other that than that. maybe do like some refraction of the underlying text layer in your marbel , that could look really neat. also if you did like some caustics on that text layer, that could make it relaly neat looking, although painting caustics could be difficult "for me anyway" i think that could improve it, i mean its what i would do .

Hi Levitateme! No the nature of my screen name is of a different nature. I took a second look at the font and it does look a bit off I will most definitely work on that. I also agree with your idea about refraction of the underlying text layer I will implement that also. Thank you for your comments!

Unfortunately I will not be able to post an update for a few days (I’m swamped with work). But as soon as possible I will fix everything said above.

Also, the white reflections in the glass look neat, but i don't know if they fit the enviroment this is in... maybe if it was slightly more irregular or showed something of the surroundings

I agree about the shadow/caustics, especially because of the bright highlights in that direction.

It's a very nice picture, and I liek the composition. Neat symbol for the bg, also. Is this for some sort of themed project, or just something random?

Bravo! Very well made and pretty darn cool. I especially liked the ball in the middle, mind telling me how you made that?

On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, I give it a 9.
