This is my first attempt at rigging a character, and I'm not sure where to begin. Are there any available online tutorials, or books specializing in MOCCA Character Rigging? Also, I should mention that this is for a music video, and well if anyone is interested in helping me i have some money to contribute, due to the tight deadline.

Hi Jeff,

as far as I know, there aren't any books for character rigging in C4d R10 or R11 (there are some books for older versions, but obviously they are outdated). There is a DVD by Wipix that came as a free bonus with R10.5 which shows some advanced rigging techniques. The common understanding is that you pick up your rigging understanding from tutorials for e.g. Maya and XSI and transfer them to Cinema 4D.

If you are willing to part with some cash, I might be interested in helping with the rig. You can see some of my work at www.animationsnippets.com (http://www.animationsnippets.com) . My email address is clutz AT animationsnippets DOT com .
